03Product information
Product descriptions, specifications and images are provided for general guidance. Natural agricultural products vary within tolerances, and colour reproduction on screen may differ from the physical product. Binding specifications are those confirmed in a written quotation, contract or certificate of analysis.
04Quotations and orders
Quotations are invitations to treat and remain valid for the period stated. An order is accepted only when confirmed by Platemate in writing. Prices are exclusive of taxes, duties and delivery charges unless expressly stated.
05Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in accordance with the terms stated on the invoice. Title in the goods passes only upon receipt of payment in full; risk passes on delivery in line with the agreed delivery terms.
06Delivery, inspection and claims
Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith. Customers should inspect goods on receipt and notify Platemate in writing of any shortage, damage or non-conformity within seven days, retaining the goods for inspection.
07Intellectual property
The Platemate name, logo, tagline, site design, text and imagery are owned by or licensed to Platemate and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No licence is granted except as expressly stated.
08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platemate shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity, arising from use of this website or supply of goods. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
09Force majeure
Platemate is not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including adverse weather, crop failure, industrial action, transport disruption, regulatory action or utility failure.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
