We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a working standard, and we consider accessibility at the design stage rather than as an afterthought.
02Measures we take
Practices applied across the site include the following.
- Semantic HTML structure with a single, descriptive heading hierarchy per page
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful imagery
- Colour combinations chosen for legible contrast
- Keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus states
- Responsive layouts that reflow for small screens and zoom
03Known limitations
Some third-party embeds and legacy documents may not yet meet our target standard. We review these periodically and prioritise fixes based on the impact on users.

If you encounter a barrier on this site, please tell us at info@platemate.ng, describing the page and the difficulty you experienced. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days.
